Enemy.Territory.Quake.Wars.BETA.2.(2007)

Post by TheAnomaly » Mon Aug 06, 2007 9:18 pm

Beta 2 Includes a new map, player statistics, improved bots, and more! Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is a first-person shooter computer game and is the follow-up to Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Quake Wars will feature similar gameplay to Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, but with the addition of controllable vehicles and aircraft, asymmetric teams, much larger maps and the option of computer-controlled bots.

If you have a BETA key already, you don't need another one.

If you do not have a BETA key, you will probably only be able to play Campaign only, meaning you can play offline.

Good luck.

Hopefully yes. :P Certain people are having problems, but single player shouldn't have any issues.

the file size suggests that there is alot missing from this game, i dont think retail will be 700mbs

if anyone gets this to work with bots, give me a shout :D

I had the same problem. When I selected the Beta 2 Public Campaign and hit play, nothing happens...oh well. Auto Detect set the options to "High" for me, which is all I basically needed to know...guess I'll keep waiting for the game to come out.

Set up a dedicated server and try running the bots on that, and then try to connect to it. It'll be much easier if you have a second computer. Make sure your firewall and ports are open and nothing is blocking the game's access on LAN. I'm downloading this as we speak, and will screw around with it once I get it.

Et Quake Wars Beta Setup.exe  [846.89 Mb]

Try this link. You guys might also be able to download this off of BT or any major gamer website, too.

I forgot to mention that you guys will need to download a Dedicated Server installation for this. I found it on a private site, but I'm not sure if you guys can download it freely off the Internet. Try downloading the second link I posted (which you can also download from Mininova or Pirate Bay, if you want to use bit torrent) and try to set up your game using that file.
