Information

To most people, the A and B roads scored across the bleak and lonely grassland of Bodmin are a way of getting from one side of the Moor to the other, but, to Arthur Boyt, they are more like a chain of exotic delicatessens. Unlike most meat-eating Britons, Arthur never goes into a butcher's shop. He gets his meat by scooping up the carcasses of animals crushed under the wheels of passing traffic. It is a diet as varied as it is strange, and he boasts a taste for the meat of cat, barn owl, squirrel and hedgehog, as well as badger.
However, after years of harvesting the Cornish Tarmac, his lifestyle is suddenly under attack. His isolated moorland cottage has started receiving abusive and threatening nuisance calls. His wife, a vegetarian, feels she is being watched and now spends much of her life in the upstairs bedroom. But, as the bizarre telephone siege of their property mounts, it is clear there is one thing Arthur will never contemplate: changing his diet.
As well as Arthur, film-maker Daniel Vernon meets Clifford (the self-appointed guardian of the Moor and a man who spends much of his life following up reports of panther sightings); father-and-son farmers Peter and Simon; and local detective Barry. Daniel finds surprising patterns in the lives and behaviour of the men who have chosen to live in such a remote outpost of Britain.

Information

For the last 30 years, Norman Wisdom has lived independently of his family in a house he designed for himself on the Isle of Man.
But now everything is about to change for the 92-year-old comedy legend.
His former PA and live-in carer, Ann Axe, has decided she can't cope with looking after him all year round any more.
Norman's children, both of whom live 300 miles away in Sussex, are faced with a dilemma about what to do with their father.
Meanwhile, Norman isn't making it any easier for them.
Instead of succumbing gracefully to whatever his children think best, he's insisting on daily trips around his beloved island (ideally including a stopover at the local ice cream parlour), looking for any opportunities to perform the hit numbers from his 18 comedy classic films, and – despite having lost his driving licence several years earlier – is thinking about buying himself a new car.
This is a poignant, funny and thoughtful film about a subject that preoccupies thousands of families across Britain – what to do with an elderly parent.

Information

Faced with the problem of what to do about schools, Annabel Goodman, a barrister and single mother of two boys, decided that she was the only person up to the challenge of managing her son’s education. Annabel didn’t just find a school for her older (and historically disruptive) teenage son, Jacob, she bought one for him.
The film follows Annabel and her sons through her first two terms trying to run a small private school. “It is a bit odd,” muses Reuben, her younger son, “because she has never bought a school before.” As the school year progresses, Annabel becomes more and more preoccupied dealing with the school’s financial problems, worryingly low school roll and increasingly disaffected teachers. Reuben also reveals that what he really wants is not his own school, but some time with his mother.

I do live by the sea! Well the nearest beach is around 5 minutes drive away. And if you download On the Trail of Tarka from the BBC Natural World thread you'll see some of where I live. They filmed it not too far down the road.

I'm less than half your age, and less than half as lively. What's your secret?

I've clicked both this and the Extraordinary People one an it says I already have the file. Have you checked that eMule is still set to catch link clicks before internet explorer does?
The Handle eD2K links button should be greyed out, if not then click it.

Other than that, I don't know. The links are valid because others can download them from me. Sorry I cant help any further.
