*-,._.,-*~> POSTING RULES FOR SOFTWARE <~*-,._.,-*

Post by Grand-DK » Fri Feb 16, 2007 10:08 am

When posting Software links please make sure your post follows these rules.
Subject Line Rules:

Software.Title.version-ReleaseGroup

For example:

Nero7.Premium.Reloaded.v7.5.9.1-RESTORE
Nero7.Premium.Reloaded.v7.5.9.1.MULTiLANGUAGE-RESTORE is also acceptable.

If there is no release group then don't add one.

So to clarify, there is a dot between each word and a dash before the release group.

Also, please avoid the use of excessive caps.

Body Of Post Rules:

Please make sure that all threads include:

1) Box covers/product images/screenshots. The images should be hosted on a site like imageshack or yeuxverts. Please do not steal bandwitdh.

2) A description of the software.

3) NFO and version updates, if possible.

4) The ed2k link of course.

Post ed2k links in plain text only - that means no [url] or <..> tags of any kind.
We have mods in place that will automatically add: (a) the filesize to each link; (b) a 'check sources' link for the file; and (c) a sharethefiles.com tag to the link.

Other Important Posting Rules:
5. No cracks, serials or keygens! This includes requesting and even linking to websites that directly host them. Providing information on how to crack, hack or bypass copy protection is also not allowed! Posting eD2k links to cracks and already cracked software or games is acceptable.
Direct linking is also against the rules. This is a general forum rule, do not break it.

From now on, please add all new versions of software that has already been posted in the existing thread.

For example: let's say you are posting the new version of VSO Software ConvertXtoDVD. Assuming of course that you're not posting a dupe (same release, same hashcode), you should add your post to the existing thread.

Your post should still have a correctly named subject line, include images, product description, version updates, and nfo as available.

Staff will merge all existing threads that meet these conditions and we ask for your help in not creating more work for us.
