Hello been on share files for a few years now and just wanted to say thanks to everyone who posts here. Thanks to this site I don't have cable TV plus I hate commercials. Again thank you for commercial free entertainment and for all the work that goes into this site.
Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here if you'd like.
Hi,
I'm Chris, I have been using the forum for some months now and have finally registered properly rather than just come on as a guest.
You may ask why I have bothered to register, well it is for one reason only; to thank all the people who make sure I can watch great content from around the world.
Actually their are 2 reasons and the first one should have been to single out momijigari if I were to take on this forum as a full time profession, I still wouldn't manage to do have the job momiji does.
I am in grateful to all contributors but I'm in awe of momiji.
Thanks

Hi, it's me. Long time lurker, first time poster. How long does it take for a post to be approved (or not)? How do I know if it doesn't? Thanks.

Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here if you like.
Hello everyone, I'm not new here but I forgot about this website, thankfully I had it saved in my accounts directories...browsing that I found you guys again. Remembering back, I just love everything about this site, the way it's designed, the great posts I've read in the past, and finding some titles I thought I would never see again in my lifetime! (because TV stinks so bad now) I literally never even watch my own cable TV, because i just can't stand what's playing. (Except Walking Dead) :|
I may rent a movie here and there, but if I didn't have a girlfriend, and she didn't have a kid who loved the new weird cartoons, I wouldn't be paying for cable! So it's really for them. I try to introduce them both to some of the old classics, even before my own time! Some they love, some not so much! I just love all the old stuff, how much real hard work went into the majority of it all, and people really cared what they wanted to show you. From the first King Kong, and still stop clay animation, to drawing cartoons, frame by frame...with a pencil!
Remember when Star Wars first came out, and how long it was at the movies for, and then how long it took for us to see it again on TV! Today it feels like they are just pumping movies out, they hope you like them, as they watch their bank accounts go higher and higher...ok, on to the next one. I swear some things listed on redbox you can still see them at the movies!
Don't get me wrong, when Jurassic Park first came out, I was finally appreciative of Hollywood using CGI...it took them some time to get it right, and for things to look real, but they got it down perfect now. The only problem i have is then everything became CGI, it's like the easy way out, who cares how much it costs, and the majority of the movie ends up being CGI! People don't realize, they aren't even watching a 100% real movie anymore, they are watching highly pixilated animations with some actors! When a movie knows how to balance when to use CGI, like making Dinosaurs...those are the movies I enjoy seeing! How well can we really make a t-rex look real, with clay, animatronics, or robots..they all move a little "unreal" to look actually real. So CGI I feel is perfect when it comes to making something like this for a movie,... but to have stunts done with CGI, and put stunt men out of work! I don't like that at all,..if it's possible to do, and we did it in the past, and it looked great! We should still be doing real scenes, whenever possible!
I'm a huge Twilight Zone fan, and I noticed fan edits area on here now, I was planning on making some classic movie edits, either full versions, or added scenes, whatever...just something cool to see from the old classics, but not change the nature of what made it perfect!

Hey, everyone. I generally never make posts about anything, except when I get those rare bursts of kinship with the human race.
Been here since: Sun Jan 29, 2006 5:25 pm
I rely on STF to keep me updated on what's new and returned, and I love how organized it is.

Activated your old account.portableblake1 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 19, 2019 11:17 amHi all. Used to knock around here as portableblake. Cant seem to reactivate old account (quite possibly old email address I've forgotten all about). Busy life means dont come as much as I used to but like popping in every now and then as its a nice feeling to see people still around and doing well. So, am back as portableblake1. What've I missed?
If you are able to login to it now (ie if you have the correct l/p) your email address can be updated.
And just try to login at least once a year, to avoid having your account deactivated (or flushed, eventually).

Hi im from Scandinavia. Just wanted to say, the chat don't work, can someone fix?
The chat works fine. It's just not supposed to be available to newly registered users (=less than 10 approved posts), for spam and security reasons.
BTW, to use this topic to report something you don't think is working is very off-topic.

I have actually been a member for several years now, but I would just like to say a BIG thank you to everyone on this site. This is the only consistent place where you can get pretty much everything you want to watch and thanks to stf, I can watch things that don't air in my country for many month's. So again, thank you very much for all your hard work.. Keep it up!

Hello everyone! I cannot believe this site is still booming! I am not sure how long I have been a member but once this is posted it may say on the left hand side.. haha. Haven't really required any files for a long time - like 10years or so. But, I am so glad that this site has been well looked after and continues to flourish. Massive well done to everyone who is involved in keeping it well.
Hope everyone is well and let's keep STF smashing it! Amazing site...
Request removed, please don't post off-topic. ~momijigari

Hello, very glad to be a member of STF. I'm Oliver from US New York, born in 1994. I'm a tech lover who like to share tricks and tutorial with people. With my two-year IT experience, I hope to help more poeple get out their computering troubles.
I've registered a new account for months, but I didn't post anything in the forum. Now, I want this post to be a good start.
