log in issues ???

Post by Bohanna » Sat Apr 01, 2017 3:15 pm

Hi all,, Since the issues they had a few days ago it seems like If you try to sign in using Google chrome it won't allow you to do it. You can still access the categories but you can't search or leave messages. It works fine on IE. I have tried it on different computers and get the same thing. Is anyone else having the same issue?? .

Same issues here using Pale Moon 27.2.1

Not sure it will help in identifying the problem but I reset my password today (thinking it was problem my end) and could only login using IE 11 using my previous password, in other words the password reset this morning doesn't seem to have replaced the old one.

Glad Im not the only one having this problem, using Chrome here as well, login did not work. I tried Firefox and then it worked...

First thought was to delete ALL web history from Chrome, and yup, done that and restarting it, now it works just fine to login again , so If you using Chrome, try this and hopefully you will be able to login again....

I had the same login problems with Firefox. After deleting all STF cookies everything is working again.

here and phantom both had it happen on. auto login worked, then some error, reload and the chat box disappeared and the board logged me out.
happened last night. just thought it might be maintenance, but didn't change this morning, but i saw new posts had been made, so knew something went wrong.
it was a weird one how it happened.

After problems over the weekend, sharethefiles came back up. But, now I am not able to logon using firefox. I tried resetting the password to no avail. I see that this is a problem with chrome also. IE 11 works, but with the old password before my reset. Any ideas?

Have you tried to delete web history from Firefox, not just reset the pasword?

If you haven't tried the suggestion by Che, in the post above you, then do it.
I had prob similar to yours and after deleting cookies FF worked fine.
