Thanks for the heads up Momijigari. Now I can stop worrying about this turn of events. Lol.

I have been having the same problem for about 3 weeks now I have deleted cookies and cleared browsing data from my computer, also made sure it was not with my antivirus or firewall.

Here is the funny thing once in a blue moon I goto one of the book marked pages I have for TV series and it will auto log me on just fine, except it is never the same series sometimes it will work with Batwoman and sometimes it will work with NCIS, but not all of the time for any certain page.

Running Win 10 pro, using latest Chrome browser

Another possible problem: I don't semm to be able to delete PMs. I get an 'invalid form' message.

Strange, deleted a randomly chosen PM just fine

Edit: actually known phpBB bug as it turned out, will be fixed in next version, whenever that might be.

If only it was that simple, no, its not any ad-blocker, tried with and without, even in newly installed browsers, same thing. also, it happens at other forums too, and it used to work, which leads me to believe its some bug/misconfiguration of the forum software used.

sorry to hear that :/
I had this problem here too, but after I deactivated all addblocker it works for me.
Do you did something under you're profile: Manage "remember Me" login keys?

No, i didnt do anything to browsers' saving of usernames/passwords of sites .. i have a few subforums of STF bookmarked, when i load them, sometimes one of them gets auto-logged-in, the rest, i need to re-login again, for each subforum, refreshing the page doesnt log me in.. some of them, get logged in if i refresh. its quite weird and it happened in some other sites too, but they eventually fixed it, i think its something with phpBB.

yes, i did have problems with other sites. but this is a new operating system, and new browser.
things actually work elsewhere now.
and i've had adblock for years and never a problem.
it was after an update here.
and this thread exists since said update.
and i've removed all remember me's, and set new ones.
it does work if i return within a few minutes.
but otherwise, no.
just updating it's still happening even with everything new.
have to log in, have to log in.
that's why we have apps to do these things when the auto fails.

well, damn. i've been using the original link. use the httpS link, and it seems to be fine.
it's lower in my saved links so don't use it.
may have been all along, as i don't remember trying secure link specifically during this.
i just kept using what worked.
this time i used it specifically, and i was logged in already.
so many things you don't think about and just chance across.

Its definitely the https part.

Ive been having to log in every time since I made my account and I had the site bookmarked as http

I used the https on the url and it logged me in automatically for the first time ever.

Now that we identified the issue, I enabled automatic redirection to https, so this shouldn't be an issue anymore.
