It's back by default on the side you're used to, I still don't see why it's the right way though
If anyone wants to put it back to the right, there's an option on UCP.
And sorry, no karma for now, there's no stable extension for it.

Lmao!!
Been there and done that.
Try 20,000 to 12,000 and today, from 12,668 to 12335.
I guess momi feels that pruning all the topics by deleting posts is easier than pruning.
If you delete a post, it removes post counts... if you move them to the trash as a trashed post, your post count stays.
Anyhow, it's easier for him and there is nothing you can do to change his mind, so don't even ask.

Re: Please report bugs/suggestions here
Recount post count tool was ran last night, that recounts posts based on currently present posts, we were trying to fix something, the action is not reversable.

qik5l:
There is an anomaly with the forum database.
In trying to resolve that issue, the database was resynchronized (quote: "Recalculates the total number of posts, topics, users and files.")
So among other things, it means that every registered user now has a post count that reflects the actual number of posts present in this forum.

Yeah, working with STF proves me more and more how phpBB is one of the worst forum software systems available. IPB and VB are much more professional. One of them cases where "best things in life are free" sayings do not apply...

Re: Please report bugs/suggestions here
Nothing "happened", and it's not a bug.
STF has always been pruned, some sections automatically after a certain period of inactivity, and some manually.
This is normal, and standard in any forum.
If it helps you understand, here's an example:
Considering the amount of links I post most days of the year, during the last 5 years or so, I "should" have a post count way up in the five-digits.
Checking my post count now (since I don't monitor it) I have 4231 posts (4232 counting this).
And you are asking about a difference of 4 posts... Do you understand what I am saying?
So there is absolutely nothing to worry about.
Please only ask again if it's YOU that's getting smaller.

Re: Please report bugs/suggestions here
Hi all. Just a quick question. Has the ability to view the forum in listview been removed permanently? Or perhaps its been changed and I just don't see it? It was a great way to find odd things that you didn't have bookmarked quickly. If it is gone I hope it is only temporary. .......thanks

Re: Please report bugs/suggestions here
hey Wingnutt,
if you have a forum related question, "Contributors Unite" is not the best section to ask it in.
It may take a long time for you to get a reply, unless a staff member stumbles across your post by accident (like now).
We do not remove any features.
If a feature is truly gone, it is due to the developers of the forum software and / or its extensions deciding to remove it.
However, if you are referring to the links that usually is available in the top right corner (below search and your notifications/private messages/username), they are temporarily gone due to a forum software update done two days ago (Friday 10th April 2015). As they are not part of the official software, it has to be manually modified.
If that's not what you are asking about, there are also several other menus available:
The top left corner (below the banner) has "Quick links", which has several options.
Your USER MENU in the forum Portal has several options too.
Hopefully either of these choices is what you're looking for.
Topic moved to a more appropriate section (and so that all users are able to see it).

Re: Please report bugs/suggestions here
Pretty sure Wingnutt means the A-Z List View.
Pretty sure that 1) he is able to communicate that without your help and 2) that I covered that link when I mentioned the top right corner links.

All movie lists , series lists etc missing ? N E Idea?
Post moved and merged to the appropriate section and topic.
That is not a request/reshare for a file...
Assuming you mean the A-Z List View, read my post from earlier today.
And FYI, the list is still available: azlists.php

Re: Please report bugs/suggestions here
I have a similar issue with the post counter, last night it stopped counting my posts after 1875 then this morning it had dropped down to 1869. are we limited to the number of posts we can make in a day?

Re: Please report bugs/suggestions here
It is definitely showing in the A-Z index: azlists.php
(TV ---> Running / Returning Series ---> F ---> The Following)
You can also search for it using the IMDb #.
You can also bookmark or subscribe to the topic, which makes it available in your bookmarked or subscribed topics in your portal user menu.
And no, not finding it using the title in search is not a glitch.
It is not possible to search for MySQL stopwords. Here's the list:
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/ ... words.html
(TV ---> Running / Returning Series ---> F ---> The Following)

Re: Please report bugs/suggestions here
Hi everyone, not sure if this is the correct forum but here goes. I've not been on the site for a while
and it seems the A-Z of film listings has gone.
I think I have looked everywhere I can think of but I cannot find them, do they still exist.
Having to put a search in for any particular film is a nightmare, as every type of file that has
any of the key words in them is displayed and you have to sift through all the pages to find a
copy at the quality you want.
Please tell me we are getting them back.
