Hi all. New user here. Found this site through eMule...

Anyway, great looking site. The registration process is hard as hell. How do you read that confirmation code? I had to do it OVER 9000 times. It would have been easier to ask me to come up with a limerick.

Hi,

I'm Barry and I thought that I should probably get around to introducing myself. I mainly hang out in Comics/Graphic Novels nowadays but I originally found STF looking for Anime.
Thanks to everyone that has been posting releases. You guys do an amazing job.

Hi guys im mante...i have been using your site for approx 2 years and always found it to be absolutely UNCOMPLICATED when using it and so easy to find anything you want.
The amount of available downloads is massive and the seedings are great...this with emule just compliments each other brilliantly.
Im not exactly a communicating type of person normally especially when it comes to typing so i can only but try lol.
Many thanks goes to all those people behind STF that make it possible for us to share our files to one another and the greatest thanks goes to
the CONTRIBUTERS as without you there wouldnt be STF anyway.
Good job guys and i hope i have many more years of sharing with you all in the future.
My emule is on 15 hrs a day 6 days week.

Hello fellas, I just this minute (well, 2 minutes ago....I have clearly been reading too many newspapers and picking up bad habits like exaggerating to make it sound more dramatic :o ), realised that I have never officially introduced myself to the forum....well, maybe I did but I really don't remember that bit of typing. Anywho, here's a bit about me so that you know something about the person who asks "Well, it may be simple to you but I haven't got a clue" questions and "Yes, I realise asking that question makes me look like a moron but, hey, what's new?" questions and will occasionally try and show some intelligence by answering tech questions.....only to learn the answers were wrong and it's back to looking like a moron again  :

Basically, I am Nursemorph (am a nurse and Morphine is the all-time best controlled substance) also sometimes known as Dave or David. I'm 36, currently off sick from work due to a bulging spinal disc and waiting further surgery (hence why I am always on here). My main hobbies are either spending time in front of my PC on the internet or playing games or......in front of my PC watching TV and Movies (I don't have a television set....just use my PC for everything....it's handy having a 19" screen).

Television-wise I love my crime based stuff like CSI, NCIS, Law & Order as well as Sci-Fi like Sanctuary, Stargate, Farscape, Galactica etc; I absolutely hate reality TV but I do love documentary series' like Kitchen Nightmares USA and Grand Designs. Movies: I will pretty much watch anything...though I love action films as well as sci-fi. Musically, Same as movies, will listen to pretty much everything (except heavy metal).

I think that pretty much sums me up and I'm not sure what else you want to know, so I will leave you with this completely random and useless bit of trivia about me that you will wonder why I told you as it will make me look like a moron (again!!):

When I was about the age of 6 or 7, I uttered the famous words that ensured my elder brothers took the mick out of me for years to come. The immortal words were:

"Do Swans eat ducks?!!"

Enough said really

Hi,

I'm Chris, I have been using the forum for some months now and have finally registered properly rather than just come on as a guest.

You may ask why I have bothered to register, well it is for one reason only; to thank all the people who make sure I can watch great content from around the world.

Actually their are 2 reasons and the first one should have been to single out momijigari if I were to take on this forum as a full time profession, I still wouldn't manage to do have the job momiji does.

I am in grateful to all contributors but I'm in awe of momiji.

Thanks

Hello everyone, I'm not new here but I forgot about this website, thankfully I had it saved in my accounts directories...browsing that I found you guys again. Remembering back, I just love everything about this site, the way it's designed, the great posts I've read in the past, and finding some titles I thought I would never see again in my lifetime! (because TV stinks so bad now) I literally never even watch my own cable TV, because i just can't stand what's playing. (Except Walking Dead) :|
I may rent a movie here and there, but if I didn't have a girlfriend, and she didn't have a kid who loved the new weird cartoons, I wouldn't be paying for cable! So it's really for them. I try to introduce them both to some of the old classics, even before my own time! Some they love, some not so much! I just love all the old stuff, how much real hard work went into the majority of it all, and people really cared what they wanted to show you. From the first King Kong, and still stop clay animation, to drawing cartoons, frame by frame...with a pencil!
Remember when Star Wars first came out, and how long it was at the movies for, and then how long it took for us to see it again on TV! Today it feels like they are just pumping movies out, they hope you like them, as they watch their bank accounts go higher and higher...ok, on to the next one. I swear some things listed on redbox you can still see them at the movies!
Don't get me wrong, when Jurassic Park first came out, I was finally appreciative of Hollywood using CGI...it took them some time to get it right, and for things to look real, but they got it down perfect now. The only problem i have is then everything became CGI, it's like the easy way out, who cares how much it costs, and the majority of the movie ends up being CGI! People don't realize, they aren't even watching a 100% real movie anymore, they are watching highly pixilated animations with some actors! When a movie knows how to balance when to use CGI, like making Dinosaurs...those are the movies I enjoy seeing! How well can we really make a t-rex look real, with clay, animatronics, or robots..they all move a little "unreal" to look actually real. So CGI I feel is perfect when it comes to making something like this for a movie,... but to have stunts done with CGI, and put stunt men out of work! I don't like that at all,..if it's possible to do, and we did it in the past, and it looked great! We should still be doing real scenes, whenever possible!
I'm a huge Twilight Zone fan, and I noticed fan edits area on here now, I was planning on making some classic movie edits, either full versions, or added scenes, whatever...just something cool to see from the old classics, but not change the nature of what made it perfect!
:)

Hey, everyone. I generally never make posts about anything, except when I get those rare bursts of kinship with the human race. :)

Been here since: Sun Jan 29, 2006 5:25 pm

I rely on STF to keep me updated on what's new and returned, and I love how organized it is.
