STEVE OEDEKERK has quickly established a multi-faceted career that includes producing, directing, writing, acting, stand-up comedy and animation.

He has written and directed films that have grossed over $1.5 billion in worldwide box office, recently received a best animated film academy award nomination for “Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius” as well as starring in and directing the wild retro-martial arts comedy “Kung Pow: Enter the Fist,” which grossed it’s entire budget on the opening weekend. In addition, Oedekerk has appeared in the top comedy clubs in America, starred in and created television specials for NBC, ABC and UPN. In the world of animation, he has created original programming and supports them with groundbreaking technology.
Oedekerk’s wide array of current projects includes writing “Bruce Almighty,” starring Jim Carrey for Universal, the further expansion of the “Jimmy Neutron” franchise, for Nickelodeon and Paramount, with a second feature film in the works, as well as 40 episodes of “The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron” with over $100 million dollars of sponsor support.
Oedekerk’s company, O Entertainment, is also leading the way with the first IMAX 3D animated film, “Santa vs. the Snowman,” releasing November, 2002.

Oedekerk also created “Thumbmation” technology, which will mark its debut in a series of Thumb Parody projects to be distributed worldwide on DVD and video by Image Entertainment. Kicking off the series is “Thumb Wars,” a send-up of the “Star Wars Trilogy.” Five more films will follow in 2002, including “Thumbtanic,” “Bat Thumb” and “The Godthumb.”
His writing credits include some of the most successful movies in recent history. While writing on the Fox series “In Living Color,” Oedekerk collaborated with Jim Carrey on the surprise hit comedy “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.” When that film became a break-out success, Oedekerk was asked to write and directed its sequel, “Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls,” which proved to be one of those rare sequels that far surpassed the box office gross of the original.

Following the success of “Ace Ventura” franchise, Oedekerk wrote Universal’s “The Nutty Professor,” which became one of the highest-grossing films of 1996. He also wrote, directed and appeared (in a scene-stealing cameo) in Touchstone Pictures’ “Nothing To Lose,” starring Tim Robbins and Martin Lawrence. He then went on to write the box office smash and Golden Globe nominated “Patch Adams” starring Robin Williams. On the small screen, Oedekerk directed, wrote, and starred in his own television special for NBC, produced an animated Christmas special for ABC as well as the original “Thumb Wars” special for UPN.

Oedekerk resides in Southern California with his wife, two children and a badger, pound for pound known to be the most vicious mammal on the planet.

All information taken from official site: ... mbmain.htm

Thumb Wars: The Phantom Cuticle (1999) (TV)
Genre: Short / Comedy / Sci-Fi

Tagline: Every Hand Has A Thumb...

Plot Outline: In a sendoff of the original Star Wars, several fingers and thumbs are used to act out the roles of would-be heroes and villians as the forces of finger and thumb clash of an evil super-weapon.

Genre: Comedy / Short

Plot: The Godthumb has a script that would be funny even if performed by normal actors (something that can't be said for all the Thumbation movies), but the bizarrely high-quality thumb effects push it to the point of surrealism. The Godthumb parodies all the high points of The Godfather (the horse head in the bed, the death of Sonny, the orange peel), but it's at its best when it spirals off into its own peculiar universe. Fans of the Thumbation flicks will not be disappointed.

Genre: Comedy / Short

Comment: "Elaborate models and costumes were created for Bat Thumb and the special effects are accomplished; it seems like a lot of effort to create something so silly, but that's part of the joke."

Genre: Animation / Comedy / Horror / Short / Sci-Fi

Comment: "…half of the fun is watching these animated digits perform! This film probably boasts the most production values of any of Oedekerk’s featurettes, including an intricate lab set and touches of animation (lightning, fire), so it’s clear that the man behind the thumbs takes creating laughter very seriously! Fans of the original monster movie will appreciate the little touches, including hilarious send-offs of the opening “warning” and the graveyard scene…funny stuff!"

Tagline: In October of some year, three student filmmakers went into the woods to shoot a documentary about "The Blair Thumb"... without a tripod.

Comment: "Steve Oedekerk is back, and he’s still all thumbs. He follows up his surprising comic hit featurette Thumb Wars with another thumbs-up spoof. This time, it’s The Blair Thumb. And once again, though he’s chosen a film that’s been parodied numerous times, he proves that his cast of opposables are unstoppable…this is very funny stuff."

Genre: Comedy / Short (more)

Comment: This particular installment has some funny dialogue, and lampoons Cameron's big budget epic handsomely

Man i've enjoyd those alot  saw them on tv and just had to buy the whole lot. Made a rip and a release myself, but the nighthawk release has more sources so i downloaded them and shared them as well.

Little info about the release order and years:

01 - Thumb Wars (1999)
02 - Thumbtanic (1999)
03 - The Blair Thumb (2001)
04 - Bat Thumb (2001)
05 - Frankenthumb (2001)
06 - The Godthumb (2001)

All Thumbs - The Complete Collection (2002)

the release years very from site to site, and the order to. On the official site it is this particular order. And if you watch them all, and have the dvd's yourself you'll find out that this is it.

There are for instance jokes in some of the movies that relate to the earlier ones so i recomend wathing them in the right order.
