Retail 720p (BluRay, HDDVD)
Encodes in the resolution 720p from retail (BluRay, HDDVD) sources, with one or more English audio tracks only. This section does not include animated or TV/documentary films, it does however include black & white movies.

DVD (DVDR, DVD5, DVD9, DVD10, DVD14, DVD18)
All DVD images/.vobs, both full retail copies (DVD5, DVD9, etc.), and re-compressed or otherwise shrunk (by removing extras and/or dubbed audio streams, etc.) releases (DVDR), regardless of audio languages. This section does not include animated or TV/documentary movies.

Retail Rips (2010-) (BDRip, DVDRip)
Standard definition movies, from the year 2010 onwards, ripped from a retail source (DVDRip, BDRip), excluding R5 DVDRips. Be aware that documentaries, foreign, animated and black & white movies have their own sections.

Retail Rips (2000-2009) (BDRip, DVDRip)
Standard definition movies, that were made this century up to the year 2009, ripped from a retail source (DVDRip, BDRip), excluding R5 DVDRips. Be aware that documentaries, foreign, animated and black & white movies have their own sections.

Retail Rips (19xx) (BDRip, DVDRip)
Standard definition movies, that were made last century, ripped from a retail source (DVDRip, BDRip), excluding R5 DVDRips. Be aware that documentaries, foreign, animated and black & white movies have their own sections.

Non-Retail HD (720p, 810p, 1080p)
Encodes in the resolutions 720p, 810p and 1080p, and in irregular HD resolutions, from non-retail (WEB or HDTV) sources, with one or more English audio tracks only. This section does not include animated or TV/documentary films, it does however include black & white movies.

Non-Retail (DVDScr, WP, R5, PDVD, VHS, LD, HDTV, TV)
Movies in one of the following formats: DVD/VHS Screener (DVDScr/VHSScr; essentially pre-released, less-mastered DVDRips/VHSRips; can be clean or have watermarks such as 'Property of' messages, and black & white scenes), Workprint (WP), R5 DVD rip (R5.DVDRip; video encoded from a Russian retail DVD, while Russian audio usually replaced with cinema quality English audio), PDVD rip (PDVDRip; normally well-mastered TCs), VHS rip (VHSRip), LaserDisc capture (LDCap), and television source encodes (HDTV, DCCap, SatRip, DSR, TVRip).

Cinema Releases (TC, TS, CAM)
Cinema releases where a video camera is used for the video (usually in an empty theatre) and audio is picked up from the video camera (CAM), directly from an audio jack (TeleSync) or both are taken from the cinema reels (TeleCine).

Black & White
The switch to colour was a gradual process mostly taking place from the 1930s to the 1950s. This section contains any movie which is completely in black and white from old classics to newer ones such as Schindler's List.

1080p (a1080p, 1080p)
1080p encodes from retail (BluRay, HDDVD) or non-retail (WEB, HDTV) sources, with one or more foreign language audio tracks (can additionally include one or more English tracks). This section does not include animated or TV/documentary films, it does however include black & white movies.

Other HD (a720p, 720p, 810p, 1080i)
Encodes in the resolutions a720p, 720p, 810p and 1080i, and in irregular HD resolutions, retail (BluRay, HDDVD) or non-retail (WEB, HDTV) sources, with one or more foreign language audio tracks (can additionally include one or more English tracks). This section does not include animated or TV/documentary films, it does however include black & white movies.

East Asian
Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Thai and any other East Asian languaged movies, this section does not include movies which have been dubbed in another language such as English but does include movies where one of two or more audio tracks is in one of the above languages. Movies from the Indian film industry Bollywood are also included.

European, South American & African
Portuguese, Español, Deutsch, Italiano, Nederlands, Polski, Dansk, Svenska, Norsk, Türkçe, Ruskij, Afrikaans, Arabic plus more. This section does not include movies which have been dubbed in English but does include movies where one of two or more audio tracks is in one of the above languages.

Lossy Complete Albums and Compilations
File formats: MP3, AAC, MPC, OGG, WMA, etc.
Any complete CD albums, whether in multiple files or single file archive (e.g. rar) of a single artist, as well as albums with various artists such as the Now series of compilations (with VA tag); lossy is a class of data compression where compressing data and then decompressing it retrieves data that may well be different from the original, resulting in a release that suffers from generation loss.

Lossless Complete Albums and Compilations
File formats: FLAC, WAV, MLP, APE, TTA, ALS, etc.
Any complete CD albums, whether in multiple files or single file archive (e.g. rar) of a single artist, as well as albums with various artists such as the Now series of compilations (with VA tag); lossless is a class of data compression algorithms that allows the exact original data to be reconstructed from the compressed data, meaning that those releases were compressed without any loss in quality.

Singles, EPs & Promos
Essentially any audio file which isn't part of a complete album.

Official Soundtracks
Original/official soundtracks (OSTs) of movies, games, TV series etc...

Music Videos
Single song videos as well any concerts, tours etc...

PC Cracked
Games which require a supplied crack to work or do not have a protection system.

PC Clones
Games which are an identical copy of the original disk and require CD/DVD emulation software to run.

Operating Systems
Any release of Operating Systems (OS) like Windows, OSX, UNIX-based, etc. In this forum you can post official OS or modified releases (homemade for example).

Non-Windows Software
Post in this section all software which do not run under Windows. If the software is multi-platform including Windows, post it in the Windows Software section.
