Im guessing the crappy red and green type by the screenies .you know the ones that give you a headache after 3 minutes and dont really work properly :p

You guessed wrong and it does work properly. Make sure to have natural sunlight prior to viewing if you're prone to headaches.

I have the glasses that were given out at the viewing of "Ice Age 3" and they don't work with this.

I think you're referring to RealD glasses which is a different type of stereoscopic imaging.

This uses an anaglyph image and requires different types of colored glasses.
