Thanks for the toolkit, firecat. There was something wrong with my system due to which even the trial version of Office 2010 was not getting activated (as a trial version). EZ-Activator did the trick.

Hi I'm new and I have read through the help and tutorials and such... I've downloaded eMule and am downloading the files from this thread... however a few days ago I downloaded a torrent file that has the same filename... so I don't know if it's the same or not but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask...

The installation text that came with it says this:

3. After uninstalling all Office 2010 Programs, reboot the computer before installing this version.
4. When window opens, click Install OFFICE 2010 PROFESSIONAL PLUS Edition.
5. Choose CUSTOM INSTALLATION when window appears.

The problem is, I do't know what they mean by "when window opens"... and I don't see any kind of installer file at all....

Here is a screenshot of the folder it unzipped into: http://webica.com/temp/ScreenHunter_26.Aug.22.06.07.jpg

If this is totally not even close to the same file as is listed here, just say so. As I said I'm downloading that now, but I am on a slow connection and so if I can use what I already downloaded, that would be better.

Hope this is ok and not breaking rules/etiquette... Thanks!!

I ended up just installing the MS Office 2010 trial... do the activators from this file work for activating that? Or do I need to get this file and replace my current installation?

Ok, I ran the "Activation" thing on the toolkit, and it said it was successful... but how do I check? When I open Word it still says "(Trial)" at the end...

Evening everyone.

K. I'm using Office 2010, and I used the activator that firecat had linked to: Microsoft.Toolkit.2.3.Beta.9. Worked great.

I just tried to open Outlook and a warning/message came up saying that MS couldn't tell if the licence was valid? Or something like that, it went away from my screen pretty quick. I did see that I am supposed to go to the Control Panel to fix the issue. So, I reloaded the activator, would not work, said my licensing data was corrupt, and the button "uninstall office" is highlighted.

So, should I uninstall/re-install? And should I do it thru the activator? Or can I just try a different version.

Try the final 2.3.2
